Sharon Yvonne Stone is the sole child born to Dorothy Lawson (an accountant) and Joseph William Stone II, a tool-and-die manufacturer and former employee of a plant. She was born on the 10th of March, 1958, in Meadville Pennsylvania. Michael, Kelly, Patrick. She was one from three sister. Stone was in second grade when she was just five. She was considered as being academically gifted. She graduated from Saegertown High School located in Saegertown, Pennsylvania, in 1975. Additionally, she participated in Miss Pennsylvania. Miss Pennsylvania pageant and won Miss Crawford County. Stone together with her aunt, in 1977 made the move into New Jersey for a modeling job. She signed with Ford Modeling Agency a week further. Her next move was to Europe which she was to spend a year residing with her aunt in Milan, Paris and other cities. Stone, however, became unhappy with acting and modeling in Europe. She chose to keep her acting career going as an actress while she lived there. At the age of 20, she appeared in Woody Allen's "Stardust Memories" a film that received mixed reviews.
